Choosing between a one-piece and two-piece snowsuit

Choosing between a one-piece and two-piece snowsuit

A question we get asked a lot is: Should I choose a 1-piece or 2-piece snowsuit?

A 1-piece snowsuit is ideal for toddlers who don’t walk yet (or not much anyway) or are less active outside. It’s more convenient to wear; easy on, easy off!
It’s easier when carrying the child in your arms, less cumbersome for the stroller and you don’t have to worry about the puffiness in the car seat.
Another benefit of the 1-piece snowsuit is that wind or snow cannot enter from the waist, keeping your munchkin warm and dry!
And bonus: Conifere 1-piece snowsuits also come with little mitts and booties, that easily snap on and off!

You can opt for a 2-piece snowsuit when your child has started walking. To give you an idea, my daughter wore her first 2-piece when she was almost 2 years old. It’s better suited for the active child, allowing more freedom for movement. Another advantage is that the jacket can be worn alone, becoming a more versatile garment.
It’s also more convenient to wear for the growing child, teaching them autonomy and independence.

Hope this helps with the dilemma. The only issue now is: which style to choose! Check out our full collection to make a selection!
